Heavy Advertising
All I see at the moment on TV here is advertising for a heap of different insurance products. It seems like the insurance industry really wants more people to get life insurance or income protection insurance. Seeing so many ads is actually making me want to not do it.
6 months ago • NotesI love architecture, and saving the environment is fairly high up on my list of things to do too. These 20 homes are, for me, aspirational - the kind of home we all dream to live in.

There’s an interesting post on Money Choices, the Australian home loan comparison service, about the production of silver around the world. What’s interesting is the price of silver really took off around about 2004. So while everyone talks about peak gold and peak oil, have we missed the rise of silver? How high will the price go? Who knows, but to my eyes it looks like it’s only going one way - up!

This is nothing short of awesome. I’m at once awestruck and insanely jealous.
I’ve just been reading a post about the colours of the Australian outback and felt compelled to post - the place is just stunningly beautiful! In my mind I’ve always associated the place with Mad Max, dust and the colour orange, but this post has blown these preconceptions to bits. Yes it is barren, and there is a lot of sand and not much green, but it is raw, slightly weird and staggeringly inspirational.

After reading AppleInsider’s latest rumour, I wondered whether it’s possible that the tablet doesn’t actually exist? It certainly wouldn’t be the first time Apple have come close to releasing a product only for Steve to nuke it at the last minute. I hate to say it, but this could happen again all too easily.
